    Body Tools menu

Together with the dedicated Body Procedures menu, the latest Body Simulator includes a Tools menu that provides a set of advanced features to further refine and enhance your 3D simulations.

From here, you can access options to adjust skin appearance, add or refine details, and perform precise manual edits. These tools give you greater control over the final result, allowing you to improve realism and better illustrate treatment outcomes.

    Clone skin

The Clone Skin tool enables you to copy a selected area of the skin and apply it to other regions of the 3D model. This feature is designed to help correct shadows, blemishes, or marks that may appear after surgical modifications.

    Main options:
    - Flip cloned area: Mirror the copied texture before applying it, useful for achieving symmetry across the model.
    - Clone area size: Adjust the diameter of the area to be copied and pasted using the slider.
    - Copy new area: Prompts the user to select a new source area on the skin to clone from.

Once a skin area is copied, it can be applied multiple times. The tool ensures only the natural skin texture is transferred—scars, drawings, or previous modifications are not included.

Cloned edits can be undone or reset at any time. All changes are saved with the simulation.

This tool, formerly known as Copy & Paste, offers precise retouching and was developed based on direct feedback from medical professionals.

    Refinement lines

Selecting "Refinement Lines" in the tools menu displays all the lines that make up the 3D body. Each line can be individually adjusted to simulate procedures or treatments, allowing for precise modifications such as enhancing features or altering contours. Refinement lines are also useful for fine-tuning simulations created with the dedicated Procedures functions.

    Scars

The Scars tool is designed to enhance consultations by allowing you to draw realistic scars directly on 3D models for both face simulations. This feature helps provide a clear visualization of potential post-surgical outcomes.

To draw a scar, select the pencil icon to activate the tool.
Scars can be customized using the following options:
    - Thickness: Adjust the thickness of the most recent scar using a slider.
    - Pigmentation: Modify the color intensity of all scars.
    - Intensity: Control the overall visibility of all scars.

    Skin treatment

The Skin tool is designed to address various skin conditions, including wrinkles, moles, pigmentation, scars, freckles, and acne. You can select one or multiple conditions from the list to apply targeted treatments.

By default, the tool allows for two treatment modes:

    • Full-face treatment: Applies the selected treatment across the entire face for a uniform effect.
    • Area-specific treatment: Allows you  to treat selected regions instead of the entire face.
The Highlight Conditions toggle enables users to visually emphasize the selected skin concerns before applying treatment.

With the Custom Area Treatment feature, you can manually define treatment areas for a full skin enhancement, providing greater precision and flexibility. Simply draw a custom area directly on the 3D model and define the intensity of the treatment with the slider. Once done, select Apply and draw another area if needed.

    Shape smoothing

The Shape smoothing tool allows you to soften and even out surface irregularities on the 3D model for a more refined and natural result.

    1. Click Select areas to define the region you want to smooth directly on the model
    2. Adjust the Size slider to control the area affected by the smoothing tool
    3. Adjust the intensity to control how strong the smoothing effect is
    4. Click Smooth to apply the changes

    Freehand

The Freehand tool allows you to manually refine the shape of the 3D model by directly interacting with its surface. It gives you more control when making localized adjustments and fine-tuning simulation results.

    1. Select to open the Tools menu in the right hand.
    2. Select Freehand from the list of available tools.
    3. Select the Freehand icon to activate the tool.
    4. Use the Size slider to define how large the editable area should be.
    5. Drag directly on the 3D model to gently push or pull the surface and refine the shape.
    6. Repeat the process as needed to adjust different areas.

Select Undo to revert the last freehand edit.

Select Reset all to remove all freehand modifications and restore the original shape.
