Support Home New Face simulator Functions and functionalities of the Face Simulator Face Procedures menu

    Face Procedures menu

The face procedures menu conveniently holds the most demanded face procedures and dedicated tools to fine-tune each procedure. Once you have modified your 3D with one of the procedures in this menu, it will show a small blue dot, indicating it has already been used.

The procedures menu is located on the right-hand side of the simulator. It can be shown or hidden  with the double arrow at the top of it.

By default, all procedures include a set of icons addressing specific parts to be simulated called Feature modifiers and the corresponding Refinement lines, that can be used either for fine-tuning or to directly simulate the procedure.

    Cheeks

With Crisalix you can simulate any procedure or treatment related to the cheeks. You can work with both cheeks symmetrically or, depending on the specific case, individually.

Whenever you select a specific icon, a horizontal slider is made available to help you modify the selected feature.

By default, “Show refinement lines" is active, showing all the lines related to the cheeks. Select one by one and move them according to your specific needs.

If you want to hide them, select “Show refinement lines” one more time to disable them.

    Chin

With Crisalix you can simulate any procedure related to the chin and jaw areas. You can work with both areas symmetrically or, depending on the specific feature, individually.

Whenever you select a specific icon, a horizontal slider is made available to help you modify the selected feature.

    Injectables

With Crisalix, you can simulate a wide range of injectable procedures. You can apply treatments symmetrically across the face or, depending on the selected feature, modify each side individually.

The Injectables tool is based on 21 specific face areas, which are categorized into three sections for intuitive navigation:

    • Upper face: forehead, temple, crow's feet, glabella, brows lift.
    • Middle face: under-eye hollows, bunny lines, nasolabial folds, and bunny lines.
    • Lower face:  marionette lines, upper and lower lip lines, jawline, and chin.

Select a specific injectable area and adjust the treatment intensity with the horizontal slider that appears.

If you want to apply changes to one side only, disable Mirror Areas and adjust each side separately. If values have been modified independently and Mirror Areas is then enabled, a Match button appears, allowing you to apply the higher intensity to both sides.

    Facelift

With Crisalix you can simulate any procedure related to the features that affect the general appearance of facelift like eyebrows, midface or chin. You can work with both areas symmetrically or, depending on the specific feature, individually.

Whenever you select a specific icon, a horizontal slider is made available to help you modify the selected feature.

By default, “Show refinement lines" is active, showing all the lines related to the chin and jaws. Select one by one and move them according to your specific needs.

If you want to hide them, select “Show refinement lines” one more time to disable them.

    Lips

With Crisalix, you can simulate various lip procedures by selecting predefined shapes such as Cherry, Flower, Heart, Natural, Rounded, and Russian. Additionally, Feature Modifiers allow for precise lip adjustments, including volume, height, width, and contour refinements. You can modify both sides symmetrically or adjust them individually, depending on the selected feature.

When selecting a specific Feature Modifier, a horizontal slider appears, enabling fine-tuned modifications.

By default, Show refinement lines is available, displaying all guideline lines related to the lips. You can select and adjust these lines as needed. To hide them, simply toggle Show refinement lines off.

The Locked Views section provides different perspective options, allowing you to maintain a consistent angle while making adjustments. If needed, you can enable Mirror selected line and adjust the Line selection length for more precise refinements.

    Nose

Certainly! Here’s the updated version with a clear mention that **Shapes** also function as a **catalogue of predefined nose types**, integrated naturally into the existing structure:

    ---

With Crisalix, it’s possible to simulate a wide range of nose procedures using predefined shapes and advanced feature modifiers.

The Shapes section serves as a catalogue of predefined nose types, offering a variety of aesthetic profiles, including both feminine and masculine options. Selecting a shape automatically applies it to the 3D model, and the intensity can be adjusted using the horizontal slider.

The Feature modifiers section allows for detailed adjustments, such as bridge height, tip projection, nostril shape, rotation, and symmetry. Selecting a modifier activates a horizontal slider to control the degree of change.

The Show refinement lines option can be activated to display guideline lines for key anatomical areas, including the nose bridge, tip, and nostrils. These lines can be selected and repositioned manually for more precise refinements. To deactivate them, simply toggle the option again.
