The Drawing tool allows you to visually annotate simulations to better explain treatment options and highlight specific areas directly on the 3D model.
To open the Drawing tool, select the
Pencil icon on the simulator's left bar.
The Drawing tool is fully compatible with iPad pens.
Available tools:
- Pencil: Ideal for drawing precise lines and detailed annotations.
- Brush: Perfect for broader strokes and softer markings.
Customization options:
- Color: Choose from predefined colors or select a custom color.
- Thickness: Adjust the width of the line using the slider or value input.
- Transparency: Control the opacity of the line for more subtle annotations.
- Style: Select between solid, dashed, or dotted lines.
- End points: Add arrowheads to one or both ends of the line, or keep it without endpoints.
Managing drawings:
- To remove all annotations, click Delete all at the bottom of the Drawing tool panel
- To delete a drawn line (either created with the Pencil or with the Brush), click on it. Observe that a blue line on top of it makes it “active” and the “Deselect” and “Delete” buttons are available at the right bottom of the After window.
- To apply your drawing symmetrically to the opposite side, select it and to make it available and select Mirror at the right bottom of the After window.
If you want to rotate your 3D while drawing, select first the ROTATE button at the right bottom of the window or press the SHIFT key while dragging the mouse. Additionally, you can click on the background color and drag the mouse.
