The Skin Conditions section within the Analysis tool enables you to identify and visualize specific facial skin concerns with precision. You can select from a range of common skin issues, wrinkles, moles, pigmentation, scars, freckles, and acne, by simply checking the relevant boxes. Each condition is represented by a distinct color for easy visual differentiation.
To improve diagnostic clarity and user control, Crisalix has introduced several enhancements to this tool:
- Enhanced Visibility Options:
A new setting available under Face Simulator > Settings > Skin allows doctors to choose between two highlight modes:
- Transparent (subtle) – for a soft, natural overlay ideal for live consultations.
- Opaque (default) – for enhanced visibility, particularly helpful for conditions like pigmentation, acne, or freckles, where low-opacity highlights might be harder to detect.
This setting applies universally to all highlighted skin conditions and ensures a more personalized and context-appropriate visualization. - View Selection:
By default, skin condition highlights are shown in the Before view only. However, you can now decide whether to display them in the Before, After, or Both windows. This update makes it easier to track treatment progress and clearly demonstrate changes over time. - Smarter Detection with an Expanded Model:
Crisalix has improved its skin segmentation model by integrating data from over 10,000 high-relevance cases. This expanded dataset significantly boosts the tool’s accuracy in detecting and analyzing a wide variety of skin conditions, even in more complex or subtle cases.
Together, these updates make the Skin Conditions feature more flexible, visible, and accurate, helping doctors provide better assessments and more compelling visual explanations during consultations.
